My Walls is a Permanent Support Housing program for chronically homeless persons. Chronically homeless persons are disabled persons with a HUD defined disability currently living in a place not meant for human habitation, a homeless/ emergency shelter and have been living in this situation for twelve consecutive months or 4 times in the last 3 years. A place not meant for human habitation is described as their car, outdoors, a park, etc. Living in ia motel/hotel is only considered homeless under this program if it is provided by an agency. Case management and supportive services are provided to participants. The goal of the program is to assist participants in gaining self-sustaining skill.
